Debby, I agree completely. Not everyone visits each message board, I for one don't. What's the harm in ensuring your message gets read by everyone? Unfortunately, I can't help with the query, but good luck.

Reg Does it really matter how many boards it's on? Surely the more boards it's on, the more chances Howie has of his question being answered? Debby

... sorry, no knowledge of Malta. However, Google has this site: www*searchmalta*com/surnames which lists known surnames on Malta. I had a brief look to see whether there were sound alikes - no matches, but how about 'valente' for the end of it?
