I've received 3 replies to emails on genes over the weekend, and each time I open it there's nothing there! It says reply from such and such, but they haven't written anything. This has never happened before, I wonder if there's a gremlim at work. Carole |

yes I have had the same, all was well on Friday but yesterday it happened. It is frustrating as it just could be the lead I am after, typical. I have sent a message to GR but not had a reply. I understand from these boards that it has been happening quite a bit lately! I know that doesn't help but hopefully if we all send a message to GR they might fix the gremlin!!!!!!!!! |

There are two threads running on this (currently on page 4 of the tips board, titled 'oohhh aarh' and 'problems with messages'). Suggest you report your cases to the support desk. |

seems to me that GR are quite happy to take membership money however, when there is a problem they dont bother to reply surely it would benefit everyone, if they sorted this out julie |

It's a bit of a time-consuming workaround but, if you do reply to a message, check it in the 'sent messages'. You can then see if the text has been stripped out. It only seems to happen on the first reply, subsequent replies appear to go out with text intact. |

It seems to be getting worse - almost every reply now seems to be affected. I have now had an acknowledgement from GR support but no substantive answer yet. 'Thanks for reporting this problem. I have passed this on to our technical team to have a look at. Please bear with us while we work to resolve this. Best regards, Rachel The Genes Support Team' |
