If you registered your FTM 2005, all you'll need is the cheapest version of FTM 2005 you can find. The WDYTYA version is said to be around in some supermarkets for £5. You may then need to upgrade it to get all the features, but if you've already done that with your old one, the FTM people may let you do it for free.

FTM is not backwards compatable. If your version is 2005 you will need that or the newer version of 2006 to open it. A previous version released before 2005 such as version 10 will not open it. Send it to me if you like and I'll convert it for you. Ron www*genealogyprinters*com

Hi I had F.T.M. 2005 version which I saved to my P.C. stick. My PC got a virus and when it was fixed I put all the details from my stick back on the P.C. but although my tree is there, I needed to reload the disc to see it, which I have somehow lost. My question is, do I have to buy the 2005 version again or will any F.T.M. version be O.K. so that I can reload all my saved info?
