Can anyone find a connection between Adolphus Goatcher born in 1866 in thakeham west sussex and Albert goatcher born 1864 or Albert Archibald goatcher born 1887 in storrington west sussex?

I can trace Adolphus back to his father, Sam, and grandfather, James c1796 but no connection to Albert. I've traced Albert back to his father, James, born c1838. Unless James is the son of the other James, I can't see a connection. The only way to link them is Parish records.

Thanks for that......... Its also given me some info i didnt have..... Albert goatchers parents!! is there a maiden name for his mother? michael.

Michael, census information doesn't provide maiden names or things like that. You need birth certificates :)

No certificates prior to 1837. As I said, you will need parish records. There might be some available on the IGI (familysearch.org) but you might have to go to the local records offices.
