Can anyone point me in the right direction of where to look for pre-1700 records? I have got back that far by going to our area Local Archives Office but their microfiche records go back no further! thanks Lin |

Google! name, place whatever, Googling can bring up all sorts of info and links. Also tryIGI (www* familysearch*org) Just putting in a name leads on to lists of baptisms and whole family trees.Use the message boards! on rootsweb.Someone somewhere may have done your tree or parts of it.leave messages on message boards. Never give up. Go down a different track and research around the person... Out of the blue will come some kind soul with a name, a link and perhaps another line. Believe me! It happens. M |
