Realised that the message we get from Abbey is that IE is the only supported secure browser! Same for business banking as well. Allie |

Odd that because I use firefox on a mac for internet banking with cahoot which is a division of Abbey and it works fine for me. You may have to go through your security preferences with a keen eye for some sneaky radio button. |

Well it's Abbey and I bank using my Applemac laptop. When I try using anything other than IE I get the not secure message thingy. And yes, the Javascript thing is on! Allie |

Allie, which bank is that? Most should work given FF popularity. Do you have Javascript enabled? Bob |

Janet - funny you should mention security - my internet bank will NOT accept FIREFOX and prefers IE for some reason! |

I agree with everything said. FIREFOX is far superior to IE. Tabbed browsing is the brilliant for research especially. I have 8 tabs open at the moment. It's great for jumping between your tree and 'hotmatches' for instance. SAFARI is good as well, but I think this is only for Applemacs. Allie x |

Hi Firefox also allows you to enlarge the page so if you have poor eyesight you can zoom in/out on the web page using the +/- keys Paul |

I also have both Explorer and FireFox on my computer and prefer FireFox. I don't seem to get those annoying pop-ups using Firefox. Jenny |

You can also import (copy) your favorites from IE. Stop flashing adds and the 'tabbed' browsing is great. It doesn't affect Internet Explorer. In fact you can use them both at the same time. I have it on wife's laptop and she doesn't know any difference. Bob |

You can keep the M/S one as well. I have Firefox, Explorer and Opera on my computer. I use Firefox for internet banking as OH says its more secure than Explorer. |

What is this browser please? Do I somehow remove the M/S browser after download or What? Really not sure what it will ever look like or how to use it. Thank you Margaret N |
