Help finding Army number

Hi Im new to this , Could someone please tell me how i would find the service number to my Granfather please. He was in the Coldstream Gaurds from 1933 to 1946 but my family never new his number any Ideas please ? Or how i would find anything about his army service ?

If he married or produced children during his time in the Army, his number should be recorded on the appropriate certs.......... Reg

I have his Wedding cert and he did Marry while in the Army but no service number on it

If he received any medals or commisions he might be in the London Gazette and that gives the army number. Google 'London Gazette '
