Help finding Army number

Hi Im new to this , Could someone please tell me how i would find the service number to my Granfather please. He was in the Coldstream Gaurds from 1933 to 1946 but my family never new his number any Ideas please ? Or how i would find anything about his army service ? |

If he married or produced children during his time in the Army, his number should be recorded on the appropriate certs.......... Reg |

I have his Wedding cert and he did Marry while in the Army but no service number on it |

If he received any medals or commisions he might be in the London Gazette and that gives the army number. Google 'London Gazette ' |
