Passenger lists from Ireland.

Have just noticed your reply Catriona (have got 2 year old grandaughter here, so am a bit distracted!) I am glad I am not the only one to ask. The answer is simple when you think about it isn't it. It's a shame because if there were lists it would answer a lot of questions for me/ + no doubt you too. Good searching Regards Ann

Before 1921 the whole of Ireland was part of the UK, so they didn't need to emigrate. I doubt therefore that there would have been passenger lists for people making the crossing. Richard

Hi Ann I asked this question a while ago about ireland to scotland. There are no passenger lists they where free to come and ago as they pleased. I beleive it was the same for England. Regards kate

Hi I have googled for passenger lists + found some for America etc but does anyone know where I would find them for Irish people emmigrating to England? Thanks a lot. I am going offline now, but will be back later Many thanks Ann
