I seem to be always on here asking for help with this family. I have been trying to locate the birth certificate of Mary Ellen Cosgrove b.1885 appx. I have checked the St Catherines, 10 years each way. Last week I had a splurge and gave the GRO all the ref numbers I had and with a checking point for her father Peter. I have recieved a letter today saying that none of them were her. Im glad I didnt buy all those certs. I have also checked the census but they arent any help as there are 2 possibilities. I have her marriage certificate which tells me her father is Peter. What could I do next to find out which is the correct Peter and what her mothers name was. Any suggestion would be very grateful Jayne

Dont the census entries give any other clues? Peters occupation when she married? against say the 1901 census? Suzanne
