Does anyone know please how you add a father to a tree if the parents were not married. Thank you Gordon

You can just add him as you would for any other father - I have many people on my tree who were not actually married to each other but had children. Their children just have their mothers surname etc. Adding a father doesn't have to change the child's surname to theirs. You can just add in the Note section that the parents were not married.
