something seems to have gone wrong with my keyboard, mouse and computer tonight. When I click on something on the web, such as an item on ebay for example it brings up a brand new window and so on with everything I click on. Thus I end up with loads of windows open! Crazy! I know this might not be the best place to ask, but I know there are some clever people on here - so here's hoping!!

that happened to me a few weeks ago I closed evrything off and did a system restore have you tried that ???

Hi Tikal Is your Shift Key stuck on ? or have you held the Shift Key down for more than 30 seconds (this will cause Sticky Keys to activate!). Basically if you Shift Click any link it will open in a new window. Press your Shift keys a couple of times this should sort it - if not restart. HTH ... Paul

Whenever odd things start to happen I switch the whole lot off and it's ok when I switch back on again

Thanks all, especially Paul - who obviously knows a lot more about computers than me. It was the shift keys that must have messed things up, but all sorted now thanks!!! Back to those BMD's ................
