Any info would be great - found him on 1841 Census - would appear to have 4 children - George b 1826 Martha b 1831 Susan b 1828 William b 1824 - no wife. I can't find him on the 1851 Census so maybe he died. I am trying to see what relation he is to my George Wood born 1818. Incidentally, the Thos Wood family lived close to the Judd family and I think a member of the Judd's (Emma) married to my George Wood!

I guess you 'd need to find his baptism - which might be on www.familysearch.org - to see who his parents were. Baptism registers will be at Essex Records Office.

Where do you live? Essex record Office is in Wharf Road in Chelmsford. Their website [just google it] will give you directions. Wendy
