In the past I've searched for births and been able to view the mothers maiden name, this has helped me to check if I'm looking at the right person! I've just done a search but it won't let me view the mothers maiden name, am I doing something wrong or has the system changed? PLEASE HELP. Sean |

Mother's maiden name was only included after 1911. If you want to say who you were looking for I can have a look too, if the record was after 1911. |
