Wondering if anyone has the same problem as me with GR program. Surely I cannot be the first person to have a tree with cousins who marry or other family members marrying into another family on your tree. GR has not provided a facility to link them together. Do not think cut and paste would work welcome any suggestions and help from anyone with a similar problem. Caroline. |

Unfortunately you cannot link family members on GR. I am second cousin to my husband and from our mutual g grandparents everyone is on twice but as I don't keep my main tree on here it doesn't bother me. Jennie |

The only way to do it is to export your tree to an offline genealogy software program which can do things like merge duplicate individuals and then import your tree back to GR from there. That's how I had to do it as I have a couple of cousin marriages and also men who married their dead wives sisters. |

GR doesn't cope with the scenario you outline. However, the PAF tree - which can be downloaded free from the LDS site - does. Reg |
