Hi Joanne, If you google, images, Morpeth workhouse, loads of photographs and plans of Morpeth workhouse come up. There is also quite detailed info on the history. I remember the building from my childhood although it was not in use. It was demolished, I think in the 50s, and a really ugly communications building up on the site. My mum has just told me an ancestor of ours used to work there. She was called Margaret Flanaghan. Moira. |
