Is there anyone who can help me please. I have been searching John Smith c 1856 born Stanton (as above) He married Elizabeth ? (her place of birth on the census's appear to be all over! but Buckinghamshire appears, which you thought would make it easier! er no!) Anyway can't find a marriage registration for these two! They had as far as I am aware 6 children. He was licensed for the Seven Oaks Inn on the Census 1901. His Father William c1830 born in Leicester/shire married Sophia ? (she was born c1831 leics) again I can't find a marriage registration! They had approx 8 children all born in Stanton by Dale. Tried following line on Ancestry, through all their children but the surname makes it difficult. Help is needed please. Thank you Glendy |
