army marriage in dublin 1860-1870

gt grand father i think stationed at the curragh dublin. mentioned in 1881 census as married wife born roscommon + 1 son (born in ireland)

thanks Looked in i.G.I. nothing. benjamin adams born birmingham 1843, In 1871 he is either in Birmungham OR Preston Barracks. On both is listed as single In 1881 census he is in Cavalry Barracks Birmingham, married ,also there Kate adams.Children,1)Edward age 5, born in ireland. 2)Benjamin age 3 born in Manchester 3)Charles 3/12 born in Brighton . I know from birth certs of children and other census kate was born in Roscommon.Also know older ben was in the 5 dragoon guards . hope you can help moe

I seem to remember that 1837online has some overseas records...but can't remember exactly how you access them. Might try freebmd too. Good hunting. Joan

Could this be Edwards birth on the IGI..... Edward Henry Adams Male Event(s): Birth: 07 NOV 1875 , Tipperary, Ireland Christening: Death: Burial: Parents: Father: Benjamin Thomas Adams Mother: Catherine Adams Tyrull Georgina.
