Can any one help finding the Woodhouse family. I have managed to find father and son on the 1851 census but cant find them before this. Joseph Woodhouse was born around 1837 in Middlesex on the 1871 census his place of birth is Bayswater, Middlesex aged 31 he was a Fireman in Manchester, Lancashire. He married Mary Ann Clifton in 1867 in Manchester and his address is given as Chorlton on Medlock, Manchester. His father is shown as Joseph Woodhouse a Jeweller. Bayswater, Middlesex is in Paddington and I have found the only entry that adds up in 1851: Joseph Woodhouse, Head, Widower, 1811, 40 years, born in St Clement Danes, Middlesex Joseph Woodhouse, Son, 1838, 13, Paddington, Middlesex. Joseph Woodhouse born 1837 died in 1877 in Manchester so is not on any later census but i cant find him or his family before this date. From the IGI I have found a Christening record for Joseph' dad: Joseph Woodhouse was born on the 29th December 1804 and Christened on the 27th Janaury 1805 at St Clement's Danes, Westminster, London. His parents are James and Elizabeth. Can any one help me find Joseph and his family before and after 1851. Thanks for you help Karen
