Is he still alive for the 1851? Perhaps he might state his place of birth on that one.

All of Ireland was part of the UK until 1926-ish when the Irish Free State was founded and the Six Counties of Northern Ireland stayed part of the UK.

When on a census like the 1841 it has born in Ireland would this mean southern Ireland or ?? please Margaret
