Heather Was it Royal Navy or Merchant? They have quite a few Merchant details on theshipslist.org and Royal Navy you should be able to get from National Archives under Seamans Services but it's not complete Sheila |

Could anyone tell me if Vessels are included in the 1841 census on Ancestry-I'm trying to find William Hosier mariner born c 1816 Poole Dorset living Liverpool -I have found his wife Ellen but William is not listed at that address -I know he was still alive as he fathered a child the following year -Any help greatly appreciated -Heather |
