Hi Linda Try having a look at www(.)ellisisland(,)org You can register for free and get information from passenger lists. It is very interesting giving details of destination, who paid for fare and in some cases height , eye colour, etc depending on the year amongst other things, Cheers Clare :-)

Hi Linda Try theshipslist.org they may have some but just to warn you that many merchant ships in the 1700 and early 1800's took paying passengers without making lists of who they were so you may not be lucky in finding information. Sheila

Hi I need help please with regard to ships and passenger lists of ship that sailed to America in the early 1800s; where do I start looking? Any help much appreciated. regards Linda B
