There's a recently started Scottish genealogy site at http://scotfamtree.11.forumer(.)com/ (delete brackets) where I think this sort of info. would be welcomed. I agree that when you view a page of matches for 20p and discard up to 25 'mishits', the info. could be useful to someone else. One way could be to say 'anyone looking for (surname) in Scotland?' and then go on to say what your search parameters were. Especially if you then go on to view a record for £1 and it turns out to be a dud, it could help someone else. The only note of warning is that you could possibly be infringing government copyright by giving the info. away for free. |

Anyone one have any ideas on how to share the info gathered when viewing records, ie 3 births on a page but am only using the 1. Seems a shame to waste the info when it could be important to someone. Michelle |
