If you are searching for anyone adopted in those years then I would be only too pleased to search through them for you. They were purchased in the long search for my own sister.

Hi Debs Unfortunately Ann is a popular second name... so it would be a huge expensive exercise to go to the FRC in London and view the Index of the Adopted Children Register. If you have the funds I suppose it could be done. It would be cheaper to apply for contact through an Adoption Support Agency... again from what I hear not a cheap process. wanting to find my full sister Jennifer Ann born 22nd September 1945 born Woking Surrey our mother lived in Bisley I was born in 1944, but adopted in 1946 so probably she was into 1946 too, having been born late September '45 Always in hope Eileen

hi my father was born 26th june 1943 malcolm and his brother was born 1942 Colin not sure when they were adopted but thier mother married a Woodward i think his name was Albert and he adopted the boys would love to know who was thier original father thanks julie

Hi I am looking for my mums brother, born Peter Paul Williams, to Margaret Williams, in Liverpool in Sept 1946. I have his birth cert and it says adopted on it. Can you help in any way - we are on Adoption Register but no sure where elso to try. Thanks Lisa
