Can anyone advise about searching for barge families? My GGGgrandfather Richard Bennett b. 1802 is proving difficult to find. He was born at Coven-brook in Staffs. No one in Coven has heard of Coven brook. The only clue I have is people in the midlands called a canal, 'the brook'. Maybe he had a barge/canal connection? Any ideas? |
