Today I visited my local registry office to search for any info regarding my family background.Although I had to pay a fee, Iam now gobsmacked that I have been able to locate my great great grand parents.I cannot put into words how that this feels, and would urge anyone who is uncertain whether such a visit would be fruitful, to go ahead.I now have my complete family tree on my father's father's family going back to 1834. I feel so fortunate to have been able to gleen this info.A big thank you to Fay who helped me. From Gail nee Coventry Riggens.
