Member Since: November 2004 Posts: 2 Send Message	Sent to Ireland for my great grandparents marriage cert but it could not be traced in spite of having dates, place of marriage etc. Then I thought of using the gaelic version of his name. ie Mc Callion instead of Campbell. It was traced for me right away. Don't know why they and their children were always called Campbell in later years. Perhaps because they had come to live in Scotland. Who knows. My point is, if you get stuck especially with an irish name, go on the internet and look for the 100 top gaelic names. Hope you are lucky, Cheers, William
