As iv tried to add to a thread twice and it hasnt entered into it. This thread is up too page 20 now.

No there's no limit (some threads are over 250 posts). You can see if your post got added by clicking on Your Replies or Latest Reply First when reading the thread. Your message will get added at the end, and if lots of people are contributing, you may find more fater yours.
