I cannot believe I was so stupid I got the marriage cert of a rellie was sure it was them, have spent ages trying to work out who the wife is where she was born etc then today a lovely lady finds a different marriage and its definitely them, so assume nothing. |

Good point My nan told me my grandad was born 1899 Thought I'd found him on 1901v census Only for her to produce his birth cert ................. He was born 30/05/1901!!!!!! Never believe unles you have proof! |

Been there, done that, got caught Valerie!!!!!!!!! Traced what I though was my paternal grandfather for three generations, then found out it wasn't LOLOLOLOL At least I can laugh about it now. Looby |

its very easy to get sucked in this man had the same name as mine and it isnt a common name Abraham Rose he even married a Joel but turns out it is the wrong Joel unless he married twice once in 1857 then again in 1860 , oh no got me wondering again now. |
