Registration district for Swaffham, Norfolk?

Can anyone please tell me which registration district covered Swaffham in Norfolk? Does Spilsby make any sense? I have no idea where Spilsby is! Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Jenny |

It would be Swaffham.... Registration County : Norfolk. Created : 1.7.1837. Abolished : 1.1.1939 (succeeded by Wayland district). Sub-districts : Saham Toney; Swaffham. GRO volumes : XIII (1837-51); 4b (1852-1938). |
