When I go on this site and I am looking for a female on the 1881 when I know her husband had died not really sure what to put in because she will be married therefore I can't put her maiden name in and birth date any advice please. |

If you know when and where she was born then you could just try searching by her first name, year of birth and place of birth - if familysearch doesn't allow you to search like that, you can search 1881 on Ancestry for free. Alex |

Sue, do you know her married surname? If you do, then search using that, and you can put in her birth date, but select a few years either side in case her age is not exactly right. (If you don't know her married surname, then how do you know her husband had died?) Kate. |
