Ann The online Scottish birth index only goes up to 1905. You'll need help from the General register Office for Scotland. You should get their contact details from www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk, even though you won't be able to do an online lookup. John

If you have no luck I can PM you details of a recently set-up Scottish genealogy website which seems to have some very knowledgeable folk running it. If you can put up with endless Glasgow tram conductress jokes. John
