Dot, To clear down your temp internet files (assuming you use Internet Explorer) click on Tools, Internet Options then on Delete files, the button almost bang in the middle of the page, then OK. You wouldn't normally want to bother with opening folders for this procedure, so I'm not quite sure what you are doing. |

Usually temp internet files and cookies are stored in the Local Settings folder which in Windows XP is usually under the Documents and Settings folder on your hard drive. Sometimes the Local Settings folder is set to be hidden to stop some important files being deleted by accident. You can view hidden folders by clicking on Tools on the toolbar and selecting Folder Options and click on the View tab. There is a radio button you can click on to show hidden folders. In the Local Settings folder there should be the Temporary Internet Files folder. If you are still having problems, message me. Alex |

Ok, just use the option I mentioned. That will clear your temp internetfiles without having to bother finding them. Be careful clearing cookies though as you can loose some of your favourite settings for various websites, and sometimes passwords. |
