Hi Everyone Thankyou for all your help. My daughter now has a copy of the census in her file (thankyou snowdrops). My daughter has written down the web addresses and will be going to have a look at them tomorrow. She says thankyou. I love this board everyone is always willing to help. Has anyone looked at the census? I wounder were his wife was that night (umm) Thankyou, Jayne

He was born 1812 Portsmuth and was in Middlesex in 61. I just got it, but snowdrops beat me to it. There are three threads about famous peole on the tips board, if anyone wants to look. Just put famous people into the search box Linda

My daughter is doing a project on Charles Dickens. She thought it would be good if she could get a copy of his census. The trouble is I cant afford to renew my Ancestry membership until next month. Does anyone have access to this that wouldnt mind emailing me a copy please. Jayne
