Hi You certainly sound very busy! I'm just bumbling around chaotically (genealogy-wise), learning as I go & saving up for Ancestry! Thanks for the offer on more photos - I will check my stash of ancestor pics as I think I have a very old fragile one somewhere. I sent the jpeg I found today to my GR-found cousin in N Scotia - she is a proper grown-up researcher too! But she was impressed with newspaper cuttings I sent her from the late 19th/ early 20th! Had to admit my late aunt had gathered them. :-) Take care xx Jen

Amazing what you can find, isn't it? Hi Jen, So glad you found yours. I downloaded masses of photos for my families and also found unknown rellies. So glad the other photo turned out OK. Let me know if I can help anytime. I love playing around with images. Only on here - no time for other places other than Ancestry, Roots, Genforum, LDS and Geneanet sites.

:-) Hi Joan Thanks for that - something I'd heard about and never got around to doing! As it was you, my photo consultant, I had a go and found a picture of my grandad's grandad that I was able to download. Very happy now. xx Jen btw - are you on the other place? If not let me know xx

I've tried that when I've been looking for piccys of places my ancestors lived and its amazing the web sites that come up I've not found before by just googling. Well worth trying

On Google. Search for a name of a person or a place. Instead of browsing the usual websites go to 'Images'. I have found some great photos of places I have lived and of several of members of our familes. Even found some rare family books listed. Interesting way to spend a few hours. Never know what you may find. You can save the pictures by doing a 'save as' but watch out for copyright.
