I have a Patrick Dooley born abt 1835 in Galway, Ireland, living in the Wheldrake area of North Yorkshire. He would have been aged 10-15 at the time of the Irish Potatoe Famine and I am therefore assuming that he was brought over by his parents to escape the disease and poverty. Can anybody give me details of when they travelled or his parents details etc. Any help much appreciated. Nicky |
