trying to find a J J ROBBINS.

ive been trying to trace my great grandfathers brother george cliffen. as far as we know he didnt marry,but when he died in acton,london in 1943 the person who signed his death cert was his niece a j j robbins. can anybody help as we dont have a clue who she was ??! thanks gill. |

Several possibilities here. 1) Maybe he did marry and JJ was his wife's niece.,(single or married) 2) George's sister married a ROBBINS and JJ was their daughter. 3) George's niece ?? CLIFFEN married a ROBBINS Unfortunately as the death was in wartime, there will be no electoral list for that year but it might be worth checking JJ's address, before or after the war, in the hope that other people in her household will help determine who she is. george did have one sister,louisa,who married a man called richard john young in 1901. maybe the niece was one of their children. but im still at a dead end !!!! i think i,ll go lie down for a while!! thanks for helping anyway. |

Gill, when was George born? Wedding in 1901 Q2 shows name as Lucia Catherine A Cliffen. 5 other weddings in Fulham, Westminster and Brentford for Cliffen family 1901 - 1915 Jim |
