Go to Import/Export Tree on left of screen. Down the bottom, click Export Gedcom. A Gedcom is a much smaller file that can be saved wherever you like and can be imported and opened in most geneaology programs. You could email this file. Hope I haven't misunderstood your question? Cheers Jenni

I was told last week that the new BETA Family Tree offers the ability to print out, so maybe that would be helpful and then you could scan it to your computer. Haven't tried it yet, but it was an email from Genes Reunited as a result of feedback I sent on their new BETA format. Hope this works! Linda

If you have a tree programme then you can export it to that programme. If you don't then you can export it to your computer but can't open it as far as i am aware with out the correct software, but you can import the file onto another website so you don't have to retype all of your tree. If you look on the lefthand side then you will import/export tree this is where you can do it from, it will send you the file to your email address. Hope this helps Jen

Could anyone please tell me how to save my tree onto my PC so that I can send it to via another email address without having to make the whole thing again in another programme like excel or word?
