I know my grandfather was a sgt in this reg, and fought in the first world war, he was also in the british expeditionary force. I have his medals, and his medal cards, but I have just been informed that he was a regular in the army well before the war is there any where I can find his army papers. Will check later as I am off to work, thanks |

May well be held at Kew. I got my grandads Army record from there he was in from 1896 to 1906. have you tried putting his name in the serach option on the home page of the National Archives. |
