Trying to find the marriage of Mary Bone born C1808 to Thomas Clifforth around 1834. Can anyone help and let me know how to find records before 1837. Many thanks Monique

A good place to start is familysearch.org. It is a site run by the Mormon church who have scanned a lot of parish records. Beware of submitted records as they can be very inaccurate though. Family history online have also got a lot of marriages. Where abouts are you looking - some areas are better covered than others. Anne

there are lots of Mary Bones in the pallots marriages on ancestry but none married a Thomas Clifforth

Thanks for the help and I will try out the familyorg site. I have been using ancestry which only goes back to 1837. It looks like Mary Bone married Thomas Clifforth and they had 2 children Ruth Clifforth b 1834/5 & Thomas Clifforth b 1838 but he must have died as she remarried year of Reg 1840 Mary Clifforth & John Henretty Jul-Aug Sep in Bromley Kent. Her mothers name was Mary Bone which is why I am assuming that is her maiden name. Can you find a death reg for Thomas perhaps? Regards Monique
