Alice Letitia Normington b 1872 Whitechapel Married William Blackburn b 1861c Barbados in 1892 Found in the 1901 census But I can't find her on the 1881 0r 1891 Anyone know why? Also how do I find out why William was born in Barbados?

Hi Quite possibly I checked all mis spelt Normingtons/Nornington Would they give a different birth place and yr?

It is possible Mile End and Whitechappel are both East London and the ages are estimated. One of my Ancestors swapped her place of birth on each census sometimes Hackney sometimes Shoreditch. Sheila

Kerry - Do you have the actual MC as this would tell you her fathers name and then you would know if the 1881 find is her.....
