I may have asked this question a long time ago, but I am back to this side of the family and still stuck with this. My grandfather, who was from Fulham, was in the army in WW1 and was injured in the leg. He spent some time in hospital when he came back. When I look on Natl. Archives there are so many Alfred Thompsons I have no way of knowing if any of them are mine. Is there a site that would list soldiers in hospitals in London being treated for war injuries? Thanks for any help. |

He wouldn't necessarily have been sent to a hospital in London because he was from London. My Grandfather was from London and sent to a Military hospital up north. |
