Births are registered ONCE and these certs will have the birth mother's name. When you are adopted I believe you get an adoption certificate, with your adopted parents' names. The birth certificate will have the fact that the child was adopted on it. |

im i right in thinking that when you get adopted that a new birth certificate is issued to your new parents and under the part mothers maidien name would of course be your new mothers name however i found my birth cert with my birth mothers maiden name mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! any suggestions please this relates to 1957 |
