Please could anyone look up 4 different people in 1861 census. Esther Cox born 1858 in Strood, Kent, James Horation Broom born 1857 in Rochester, Kent, Julia Alma Chidley born 1856 in Chatham, Kent and John Herbert born 1856 in Chatham, Kent. Many, many thanks. Fern -x-. |

Stafford is the name of the person above this family but does look a bit if 'dittoed' for the Chidley family Not sure of occupation for Alfred - could it be policeman dock yard Maureen |

Really clutching at straws with this suggestion for 1861 but there is a Thomas Broom b 1809 Rochester but he is on a vessel in Northumberland - states married. Just wondering if that is why James got the middle name of Horatio. If he is the father of James then where is Emma? Maureen |
