in 1891 where is woolwich is it in london? does any1 no the email for the reference library in that area please thanks

yes in london middlesex south of river east of southwark. just ask google for ref library

Dotty Dennis has given you incorrect information. Woolwich was Kent. It is south of the Thames on the East side of London. Middlesex was and still is North of the Thames. Southwark is South of the Thames on the West side and was Surrey. Janet

Thank you Dennis though I fear I am fighting a losing battle as far as Genes Reunited is concerned! Why is this education so necessary on Genes? In all my Family History Societies we all bend over backwards to help each other. I am in despair! And I know I shouild not be hijacking Dotty's thread. Janet
