Thanks Sylvia, On the ones I am having problems with the 'show links' etc. thing aol sometimes has does not appear. I have already set to allow them on my mail settings. Gerri Couldn't do that either. I think it is a big conspiracy! Thanks for your suggestions though.

I get this on all my hotmail mails. I think it might be something to do with my antivirus thingy. I have to open each picture one at a time from the subject line where they were sent. Hope this makes sense? lol it does to me....ish! lol Gerri x

aol email: at the top it says 'enable images and graphics' if you click on that it should show all pictures and graphics in the email.

Hi Carol, Well I didn't know you could even do the right click thing, in fact I always forget right clicking. I did try it and it didn't have a 'Show Picture' option. However it did come up with other options that will be useful at other times. I couldn't get it to work this time though. Oh well, worth a good try. Thanks anyway. Cheers.

Have you tried right clicking on red cross then click show picture? It sometimes works.

Hello I am still getting those empty boxes with the little red x's in the top left corner on some of my pictures in email. I have had all kinds of advice from aol, including changing all kinds of settings, clearing cache etc. Nothing has worked so far. Does anyone have any other suggestions please?? Thank you.
