Hi In the past when an image hasnt been that clear I have emailed scotlandspeople and they have checked the original for me. You never know you might be lucky!

Maureen Thanks i have printed a copy but the copy is not very good even when i enlaged it can not afford £10 if wrong person very hard going as left a workhouse age 8 ithe middle of 1891and 1901 census this is the closest i have got Valxxx

I usually try to check info on ScotsOrigins or IGI before doing searches and spending money on ScotlandsPeople. If the marriage is before 1855 then you probably will not be able to view image but would have to order it at £10. Maureen

After a search costing one unit or more - the images are usually available to view at a cost of five units. £10 is usually if you order a copy. 30 Units cost £6 - but you probably already know that. Maureen

Have been looking for my gmother Mary Featherstone 1887 on Scotlandspeople have only found one in a 10year search born 1887 Hardwick Roxburghshire anyone know were this is please, also found m for this Mary's parents is £10 the normal price for M cert in Scotland Thank you for your time Valxxx
