hello, can anyone help me find the surname Hodgson on any of the census' papers in LUND near Beverley (east yorkshire). So far we have knowledge of a Mark Hodgson aged 12 in the 1901 census (born 1889)....but we dont have a copy of the census,....can anyone help! thank you.

Sorry Mark but I dont know anything about the Hodgsons in Lund but I was looking at your surname. Have you any Rowleys in your ancestry associated with Ruston Parva, Harpham, Gt. Driffield? I have a William Rowley b.Harpham c1820 and wondered as you were looking for someone in East Yorks that you might be descended from these Rowleys. Regards, Jean.

Hodgson is quite a common name in this area - sounds as if they were in agriculture, as Gardham is just a very small community. If they were ag labs, they probably moved about quite a bit - you seem to have Cherry Burton, Lockington and Gardham. Jay
