Does anyone know if this air base is still there and/or if they would keep records of americans who were based there? I am trying to find information on my grandfather who I know very little about. His name is Pete Shelton and he was based at Middleton Stoney in the early/mid 1950's. The only other thing I know is that he returned to America in Sep 1954. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Paul |

The NPRC in USA stores records for all American personnel. Take it he was American? If so I can help. I belong to an organisation that helps reunite the families of those who had USA servicemen fathers. My grandfather was a GI in WW2, there are barely any records on American personnel kept in UK. |
