If there is an LDS (Mormons family history centre) near you, they could order in the film for you. If you can get to the LDS in Kensington, they have all the civil registration BMDs there. I shall give a nudge to some Irish research tips threads for you. MM

Thanks Kate, but I need the reference numbers etc to order it and I need to find out what year it took place. Is there nothing like on Ancestry where we can look up all birth marriage and death between 1837 - 1983. Many thanks. Fern -x-.

Fern, have a look at the Irish GRO website at www.groireland.ie and it will give you the information about how to order certificates. I am pretty sure that you won't find the marriage online anywhere. Some LDS Family History Centres have copies of the Irish GRO indexes, but again, I am pretty sure they won't go up to the dates that you want. Kate.

How can I search for a record of a marriage taken place between 1935 and 1947. The groom's name is Jospeh George Lewis Livermore born 31st Oct 1920 and the bride's name is Ethel Cunningham ?????? (don't know her maiden name, Cunningham is just a middle name) born on 19th June 1920. The marriage took place in Ireland I have no idea where, this is when I wondered if there is anywhere to look up records of all marriages taken place in that time in Ireland. Many thanks. Fern -x-.
